What a Retarded review.

"Clunky Controls"... but its expected.
When a prestigious Mag as Edge calls it "The epitome of action game mechanics", a shitty site/reviewer as yourself, has to act according its nature, eh?

And let the fun begin.

Thanks for the input ActionMas4ur. I appreciate the counterpoint of Edge magazine's opinion, but I've never read any of their stuff so I don't know how reliable they are.

I went into this review WANTING to give it an eight, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. There's just too much wrong with the game.

"The epitome of action game mechanics" is a bit of a stretch. Had this have been Ninja Gaiden/ Black/ Sigma, I would see where they're coming from. As it stands however, in the last five years the controls have actually gotten worse. I'm not sure how that's possible, that's just how things are.

I'm not quite sure what that last bit of "according its nature, eh?" means, but the answer is "yes".

And for future reference, you don't need to quote the poster above you when you're the first reply on a thread.

Thanks for the input though, almost intelligible.

I know what you mean Derek. And IF he were a listener, he would know that I'm a huge fan of the Ninja Gaiden series and it really did hurt to give it a 6.5 instead of the 8 I had envisioned from the start.

And you're completely right, 0 is worse than Superman 64, 5 is average, 10 is phenomenal. Make up whatever adjective you want for things inbetween.

As much as I hope he does reply to this, like you Derek, I doubt it'll happen.
