Red Wings Draft and Prospect Rankings

The NHL entry draft was this past weekend and since I was sitting at home smoking a 8lb pork shoulder, I had plenty of time to watch it.

Since it looks like that Castro guy is going to play one more year in Chicago, I might try to catch a game and see how he looks. I'm hoping to go to another Wisconsin game too so I can check out Brendan Smith.

Here is a good recap of the Red Wings recent prospect camp from the Snapshots blog on mlive.com.

In the recap blog, he has links to the recaps from the individual days of the camp. It is really good stuff and well worth checking out. Over the past week or so I have become a huge fan of his blog and end up checking it a couple times a day. There is lots of good info there.
