both have (Hanshin) Tigers and (Yomiuri) Giants ..but only Japan has Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters!
there are no Ham Fighters in America....
Japanese fans are CRAZY supportive of their fave team. in america a team has one "fight song",and one or two cheers tops "lets go__-__" ....in Japan every situation has songs , cheers, and there are noisemakers that fans bang together ryhthmically depeding on whats happening, these can be like two plastic bats , to two huge megaphaone like objects (what are those called chad or chase....help me out here)
Japanese baseball is better than American baseball.
Have a good one, Thim.

ive got two words for that Derek......
Daisuke Matsuzaka
When the Boston Red Sox signed Daisuke Matsuzaka in 2006, he became the most expensive trans-Pacific transfer ever. While details remain undisclosed, several sources cite Matsuzaka as having received a guaranteed $52 million for a six-year contract (with elevator clauses potentially bringing the value up to $60 million), in addition to the $51.1 million posting fee that the Red Sox paid his former team, Seibu Lions, to release him.
you dont get that kinda cash for sucking.
american teams pay alot of money just to negotiate with japanese players...
also..."go hamfighters!"
have a good one, thim
