Speaking of that conspiracy thing about the cousins... go back 32 generations and everyone is related. How? (2 people) to the power of the number of generations gives us the population, then factor in how long ago that was and the known human population on earth at the time and the 2^32 is a bigger number than the actual population. Thus, we're all redneck cousins. At least Chad and I go for more distant relations.

To be honest, I do not really care where he came from or that the guy has a great story. I listen to what the guy says he is going to do and I think it is more of the same. When it comes down to it the only differences between Obama and McCain, were that Obama was younger and more charismatic. They pretty much agreed on everything of substance except who they thought would be the best President. Obama is going to continue the same policies that got us into the mess we are in and he is going to make it worse with more bailouts.
For me it all comes down to that $700 Billion bailout. I am never going to vote for someone who supported that. Obama and McCain both told me all I needed to know when they voted to throw all that money away.
And about Eric's 2nd point, while their aren't any secret societies running things behind the scenes, it is near impossible to get elected to any national office if you are not part of the Democrat/Republican machine. They have set up the system in such a way that it almost guarantees that the incubant stays in office or at the very least a member of one of the two parties wins. In the past 5 or 6 elections, 90% of the incubant Congressmen or women have won relection. That sounds like a club to me.
And on a more fun note, if Jack Ryan doesn't take Seven of Nine to a sex club, there would be no President Obama. Or better yet if Mike Ditka had decided to run for the Senate, there might not have been a President Obama.

mike..your just an illuminati plant here to quell our love of freedom of speach. we know the conspiracy has you, otherwise you wouldnt have this show!
" Reality is no where near that interesting to have all of those conspiracies going on, or else we'd be seeing UFOs on a daily basis and stalked by BigFoot."
thats what some modern religions are for, to combine conspiracy theory, ufos, and yeti. it makes life MUCH more interesting. LOL ;D
once upon a time (last century) you couln't talk about ufos without being seen as a completly barmy nutter....now its a common topic. I didn't even mention Ufos, weather control, the yeti-race, atlantis, or (david icke's favorite ) "shape shifting lizards" in my "rant". I wasnt aiming for "completly nuts" in delivery afte rall. I've watched all sorts of flicks online about various "conspiracy theory", because I find them amusing, but not neccessarily truthful. In fact I find MOST of them have little truth and are all about selling DVDS and doing the "kook lecture circuit" with the latest most outlandish theory.
'tho I'm glad my "rant" did its job on the intended target, captain america, 'ell he admitted i HIJACKED his thinking, and i apparently caused a rip in space-time that caused him to agree with Derek! GO ME!
I hope it also caused us all to examine our government, our thoughts on it, and to remember that democracy is NOT a every 4 years thing but a constant ongoing system in which we must make sure those who represent us are doing so to our approval.
to be clear, while it was mostly a joke in delivery, there is undenyable truth in the data about the bloodlines (as Chase pointed out a simple explanation of) , and as far as world government , like all governments, will have its pros and cons, which due to scale are grander than any other governmental possibility.
enjoy looking up kook videos, or don't. i find them good for a laiugh, and to be some of the best sci-fi being written today...and better than some cetrain horrid sci-fi writers like...oh l. ron hubbard...now that guy sucked as a kook, a writer, and at life.
*grinning his arse off*

Just to throw a bone in your UFO hang-up, UFO sightings started EXACTLY at the same time period that "Fairy Abductions" and "Elf Attacks" stopped... thus UFOs are actually the Faerie folk.

This is forever slow, but the part where I say "I really don't know what's going on in America right now" is wrong... it should be "I really don't know what's going on with that stock right now." Referring to the stock my parents had that I mentioned a sentence before.
