Internal Affairs is the Hong Kong movie that the Departed was based on.
Still listening.....
It is good to have you guys back. Luckily, I forgot to update the Ipod so the Battlestar Galactica podcasts did not copy over, so I get to listen to you guys this morning.

A few more things after listening to the marathon show,
I am not sure I agree with Step Brothers being the best comedy of the year. I liked it, but I would have had Forgetting Sarah Marshall at the top with Step Brothers and Hamlet 2 fighting it out for the 2nd spot and Pineapple Express after those two. I can't believe Don't Mess with the Zohan was in the conversation. I actually turned that movie off after about 30 minutes it was so bad. I can't remember the last time I did that with any movie and I have sat through some stinkers.
I would agree that The Dark Knight has to be the best movie of the year. Where as I think I enjoyed Iron Man a little bit more just due to the tone of the movie, I believe The Dark Knight was overall the better film.
I second Eric's love for 24. So far it is looking really good. I know everything in the show is ridiculous, but I still love it. I mean how does Jack NOT have a broken neck.
Battlestar Galactica is awesome. For as good as the series is, the mini series is horrible. That is what kept me from watching the show for so long. You guys need to get current with it so we can discuss it on the boards. Friday's episode was crazy good.
The Howard Dean scream seems perfect for Chad. You guys need to keep that.
I am sure I have already forgotten some of the stuff I wanted to mention since it was so long. I'll post more if something else pops up.

I wonder how drunk the reverend got from listening to this show... I'm only 40 minutes finished listening (TAKE THAT ENGLISH!), but I want to reinforce my point on Spore being the most overrated game of the year.
A - Chad, in the show you said I came over and showed you crappy videos, but when you first saw them you were astonished and awesome-ified... so suck a fat one.
B - Everyone playing the creature creator and claiming that gives them the right to rate the full game should think about this : If you only played a map editor, for Example, for Starcraft or Warcraft 3, you would NEVER EVER rate the game purely from the experience of that map editor. Therefore, all of you suck a big fat one
C- For a game to be over rated, it needs HIGH RATINGS. Spore got 7's and 8's, and as you have said so many times on the show, outside of Headshot Radio anything with a 7 or lower isn't that good.
D- You complained about GTA4 getting over hyped and everyone gave it 10s, then turned about and said how it was great except that the lack of saves ruined it, but you didn't have anything else to really complain about... you all said the same thing unanimously, therefore, you all should of put GTA4 in that and voted it as the most overrated, and given Spore an overhyped award.
E- Mike hates retarded children.

OK Chase, you win. I don't even care. Spore was average for what I hear, and that's pretty much all I got, word of mouth.
The videos you showed me were cool at the time, but apparently didn't amount to much. 7's and 8's aren't bad scores in our world, but in the rest of the world where an average game doesn't actually get a 5, it gets a 7, I think it's kinda rough.
Even though I hate talking about politics, I just watched the Obama Inaugural Address, and it was fantastic.
And I know this is unrelated, but I would like to reiterate that Lost Odyssey actually had the best soundtrack this year. I wish I weren't an asshole and would have actually nominated it. I think I was too busy getting high off of Castle Crashers' soundtrack. What can I say...they're both really good. But one is epic while one is fitting for a wacky game with zany characters and badass Dan Paladin art.
P.S. God I love Lost Odyssey.

Be there any listener email aboard this episode? Perhaps, about the 2008 election?

Let's hope that we do. Because when Mike told me we had multiple Brando mails, I was eager to see what they were all about. Then we went ahead and acted like jack-sauces and didn't even read them. Sad, but we'll hit them up hard next week because we'll probably be hurting for content, and I need to definitely remind Mike to start the segment. Maybe we should lead with it...maybe...absolutely.

We should do a Brand-E-mail Minishow... I'd help. Eric is the only one allowed to read them though... he has an announcer voice.

I wonder how drunk the reverend got from listening to this show... . Answer, Very., as you might have guessed by the fact that I hadn't even commented on the show yet! Truely an EPIC episode.
