Last night's show was awesome. There was so much going on I do not think I could possibly put everything down.
The most interesting part of the stuff off the island is Ben running into people we have only seen once or twice, like lady in the butcher shop and the lady in the church basement. Other than that, I could almost do without the folks off the island, with the exception of Desmond (brotha) and Penny.
Faraday is slowly becoming my new favorite character.
The way they are doing the time travel is pretty cool. I wonder how long they are going to stay that far in the past. Hopefully we will get to see how the pirate ship got stuck on the island.
And the guy taking the picture of Hurley with the gun with his cell phone was classic.
And more Ana Lucia
I can't wait until next week, with in addition to more Lost I can finally get more Life on Mars. This is going to put a cramp in my Top Chef watching, but since they replay the heck out of it I am not too worried.

After watching the premier ... I just want to say it's awesome that LOST has stayed top notch since the 3rd season.
Faraday is becoming a really interesting character ... I really think he'll be one of the most important people once the conclusion comes about. And what was he doing as part of the Dharma Initiative at the top of the show?
Mini Plot Hole: If you can't change the past ... why was Ethan able to shoot Locke? I understand that Ethan shot Locke to prevent Locke from getting into the airplane (under the same rule) ... but doesn't it work both ways?
The Saheed (SP?) and Hurley stuff is great. I love it when the writers pair Hurley up with the hard ass characters on the show ... makes for great entertainment. And remember ... "whatever Ben Linus tells you ... just do the exact opposite."
Kate is still fun to look at ... but she and Sun didn't add much to these episodes ... and now they're going to be paired together for a run of shows? Ugggg.
And was that REALLY Michelle Rodriguez? If so ... I would like to see some more as well.
YAY! I love episodic adventures!

I agree that I think faraday is going to a key player in actually trying to understand what is going on.
As for the Ethan/Locke thing, I think it is ok that Ethan shoots Locke since it is not changing the past or effecting the future since Richard knew to go their and fix Locke up before the next time jump.

I think Faraday was just checking out what was going on. I think based on the Dharma folks that jumped Sawyer and Juliet, right now they are on the island during the time that Dharma is setting stuff up on the island.

Good Lost. I liked pretty much all of it. I still think Kate is a boner-killer, but that's just me. I actually like Sun's role, and Hurley actually going in and getting arrested was something that I completely didn't see coming.
Talk about doing the exact opposite! "Come with me Hurley." "Nah dude, I think I'm just gonna get arrested and confess to even a 4th murder on the spot".
Old woman at the end was dumb. But the fact that Faraday was able to go back and implant memories into the Aussie's head was sweet. God damn I love this show. I mean dont get me wrong, I'll bitch about how long it's been going on, but I really do love it.
