You were talking int the show about the series that the Tigers have coming up, and after the road series against the Yankees, the head to Minneapolis for a 3 game set with the Twins (I will be at game 1 Friday night). I am hoping to see the Tigers light it up again against the Twinkies.
I will be honest, I was watching the rotation and probable pitchers, and up until about a week ago I wasn't real thrilled about the matchup. However, after seeing how Gallaraga has been playing I am excited to see what he has live and in person. I am planning on calling the voicemail periodically throughout the game with some live audio. Go Tigers!!!!

That sounds like fun. I will give you this warning about planning to leave a voicemail during a game. I went to see the Red Wings play Chicago on April 2 and I had every intention of calling to the show and leaving a voicemail. Of course, Hasek couldn't stop a shot and they were down 3-0 right off the bat and lost pretty bad. Understandablely I didn't feel like calling in after that.
I am not saying that will happen to you, but if the Tigers happen to lose the game, I'm not going to blame Zach Minor or Jason Grili, I am going to blame you Wil.
Have fun at the game and don't jinx the Tigers.

You know what, I have told all the Twins fans that I work with that I really don't care who wins the game I am just happy to be there and see the joy on my daughters face when she watches and sees these guys play...that is where my joy comes from, not whether or not they win. When I am watching on TV or listening to it on the internet, it's a different story, that is when I do care they win or not.
Whether we win or not I will be calling in and enjoying it.

Ok so apparently I am bad luck or calling you all is bad luck because it went from bad to worse as the night went on...wow, 11-1. That was a butt whoopin'. Other than the homer by Mags, the couldn't get much offense going. Here was my biggest problem with that game. Why on earth can't a team score with bases loaded and no outs. Jones, hits into a double play to end the inning. Has he really done anything good for the Tigers this season. I was sitting in a section with a bunch of other Tigers fans, and they were all talking about trading Jones...one guy even told my friend, who is a Twins fan, that we were going to leave him in Minnesota, and the Twins can deal with him. I know it was a bad lose, but I had a great time with my daughter, friend, and his 2 sons. It was so worth it.

Jaque Jones ... our former outfielder ... not Todd Jones. Being a closer ... I doubt Todd Jones has ever batted in his life.

Ok, so I am looking at the Tigers website and I see that they sent Jacque Jones (that is the Jones I was talking about Derek) down to the minors. That would have been really helpful on FRIDAY, we could have had Inge there. Stupid &@(# %(@(*#& no good Tigers...ok now that I have that off my chest, I am better. I had to come back to work and listen to all the Twins fans ask if I need a broom.
I did get a cool gift from the Twins, it was Rapala fishing lure night at the game. They gave away a lure that had a Joe Mauer jersey on...puke. I gave it to my boss. Anyway, I really hope that they can turn it around against the Red Sox, oh wait, they lost last night again. 4 in a row...what the f@$k is going on. They sweep the Yankees, and get swept by the Twins. And of course they have that happen on the night that I am there...geez. I would have rather seen them get swept by the Royals, oh wait that happened too.
Ok, I better end this before my blood pressure goes through the roof. On a different note, I had a great time at the game with my daughter and friend, like I said earlier.

Morale of the story ... they got their butts handed to them by the Twins and Red Sox. This team needs some major shake-ups and I have a bad feeling that still may not be enough to salvage this team with the starting pitching as bad as it is ...

Yes Eric, I would agree. There needs to be a shake up on the team, but Barry Bonds is NOT what the Tigers need. That is a headache and way too much baggage. For crying out loud, he has a lawsuit pending against him. No, NO, NO...a thousand times NO.
Ok, I am done now.

Ok, so I decided to add a poll to this and see what everyone thinks. I voted no...if I could vote more than once I would, but I can't...I'd vote a thousand times, no. But that is just me...what does everyone else think.
