Didn't you mean Caddyshack II sucks? I mean it does.

OK, seriously Derek. No...Caddyshack is the best comedic cast in the history of Comedy film. I can't believe you, of all poeple, don't see that. Ted Knight, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Rodney Dangerfield (I wonder if that is his real last name?). You can not honestly tell me that you think that is a bad cast.
Well, everyone is entitled to his opinion, even when you're wrong...lol

After listening to the last episode of the show, I guess I need to justify the picks a little more. First is the top 50 sports movies from IMDB. Take a look at what is #3, www.imdb.com/Sections/Genres/Sport/average-voteThis next bit is a quote from Bill Simmons Column on Espn.com on the Karate Kid from 2002 (I think), "Quite simply, one of the 15 best sports movies of all-time. Please ignore the ludicrous Page 2 voting, which omitted "The Karate Kid," "Fast Break" and "Major League" from the Top 20 and featured a chick flick (Bull Durham) at No. 1, the dumbest, most outrageous thing in the history of Page 2, and for the love of God, I will not argue about this" I'll give you Searching for Bobby Fischer, but that only made my list because I was having trouble thinking of stuff that I liked at the time and have since ammended the list. Pool is as much a sport as bowling or golf. Speaking of which, I'm surpirsed no one mentioned Kingpin.

OMG
How did I forget Bad News Bears!?
Here's my list
5) Bad News Bears 4) Field of Dreams 3) The Natural 2) The Sandlot 1) Major League
FYI, "A League of Their Own" is a baseball movie? How can anyone question that? It was about a real historical part of baseball history. It is almost as much a baseball movie as "The Jackie Robinson Story" (I excluded biopics from my list). Also, it is good, just not on my top 5.

Now, my favorite sports movies:
10) Remember the Titans 10) Glory Road 9) Mystery, Alaska 8) Happy Gilmore 7) The Natural 6) The Sandlot 5) Caddyshack 4) Hoosiers 3) Rocky 2) Major League 1) Slap Shot
Slap Shot is just greatness. That, and hockey is, by far, my favorite sport. Rocky won the 1976 Academy Award for Best Picture (even though Highlander won the Academy Award for Best Movie Ever Made. Oh, and Talladega Nights was good, too). Hoosiers just makes you love the fundamentals of basketball. Caddyshack is fantastic because [insert random Caddyshack quote here]. Happy Gilmore is one of my favorite comedies of all time (with the Blues Brothers in front of it), and remember, Happy is a hockey player. Mystery, Alaska is hockey, in an enchanting place (Alaska), and it has Hank Azaria, who is on the Simpsons. And, Glory Road and Remember the Titans were both about civil rights and sports, which I like. I wrote my senior history thesis on Jackie Robinson as a civil rights leader, so I think that is a pretty cool subject. They are also interchangeable.
Let me know if I have any blatant omissions.
